The Earthbound Trinity.

[ Varalaco ] [ Inoci ] [ Talimure ]

Secondary children of the Gods.

First on the land were the Dragons, the Elder Brothers and Sisters, as the Amalayel call them, at least loosely translated, it is. The Varalaco say Egith Nostraim/Nostra'eis. The Inoci say Tuaril Asii/Sostrea. And the Talimure call them Daga Ro/Rondai. However they say it, though, they all refer to the fact that they, as Earthbound Children go, were created second, and ages after the Elders had already long roamed the world.
This is how they acknowledge the bond between them selves and the Dragons, giving a nod to their collective creators, for unlike the races of Man and Maiyenin, the Amalayel were hand created by the Fourteen themselves. Not physical expressions of the gods, but experimental combinations between concordant groupings.
They need not study magic, for like the dragons before them, they are of creation. It courses through their veins. However, it is not a universal talent within them. The areas one excels in another may fail miserably. To assume that simply because one is Varalaco, for instance, and aligned with Darkness means that they can Shadow Walk as well as any other while at the same time a brilliant apothocary would be the same as assuming that simply because one is human one knows both karate and how to sing well. It would seem to us rather silly to assume that simply because one human knows karate and another can sing that all must be able to do both, but so often that is exactly what people believe of fantasy races, that each available trait is universal rather than experience specific. If you wanted a Shadow Walking apothocary, you'd make one, but creating a Varalaco character would not mean that the knowledge to do both was implied or inherent. The potential is all that is supplied.
